Eligibility:
Must be a year-round primary residence (at least 12 months old) and be either a single-family, duplex, triplex, row home, townhouse or mobile home on a permanent foundation. New construction, additions and garage upgrades are not eligible.
Existing primary heating system must be hard-wired electric (e.g., electric baseboards, electric furnace).
The new heat pump must be on the rebate-eligible heat pump list. Whole-home systems must also be NEEP cold-climate certified and sized with a heat load calculation. Homes over 1,200 sq. ft. must use a multi-split or central system.
Replacing an existing heat pump or adding a head to an existing heat pump is not eligible.
Installation must be completed by a licensed Home Performance Contractor Network member with a valid business license (like Vision Plumbing Heating Cooling).
Application and supporting documents must be submitted within six months of the invoice date.

The CleanBC Energy Savings Program provides income-qualified rebates for heat pumps, heat pump water heaters and related upgrades in single-family homes, secondary suites, mobile homes on a permanent foundation, duplexes, triplexes, row homes and side-by-side townhomes. Rebate amounts depend on your household income, household size and how your home is currently heated.
What’s covered:
Heat pumps – up to $13,000 for homes switching from natural gas, propane or oil (up to $5,000 for homes heated with electricity or wood)
Combined space and water heat pumps – up to $16,500
Heat pump water heaters – up to $3,500
Electrical service upgrades – up to $5,000 (when switching from fossil fuel heating to a heat pump)
Ventilation – up to $1,600
Health and safety – up to $800

Total rebates can reach up to $8,500, tiered by income level and household size.

We've had Visions out to service our 30+ year old gas fireplaces a few… More times over the years. Each time, the admin person and technicians have been very friendly and efficient. We've just had Kjel by to replace a part in one of our fireplaces and he did an excellent job. His experience and analytical nature helped him quickly find the root of the problem. We chose Vision Plumbing to replace our old "Through-the-Wall" noisy… More AC unit with a new Hisense 1-ton Mini-Split AC Heat Pump. Vision Plumbing has done several of these conversion in our Brandt's Crossing Strata.
Visons heads up the whole project, contracting out the removal of the old Though-the-Wall unit, closing the big hole in the wall, finishing and painting the interior wall, and finishing, stuccoing and painting the exterior wall. The finish of the wall prep work was excellent with exact paint matching.
Then Visions arranged a day for the Hisense equipment install and contracted an electrician to upgrade the old AC 110 circuit to the required 220 circuit. The Visions team of Jamie and Doug did a super job of installing both the inside Hisense heating/cooling unit and the outside Hisense condenser / fan unit. Jamie and Doug were super organized and laid out floor protectors before any work was done. The finished project looks perfect with all cables and conduits neatly secured and totally plumb. Jamie And Doug were excellent in the whole replacement and fitting exchange of the systems. Getting the old furnace unit out, with the new one in on the same day to ensure we stayed heated through the night as a top priority. They were open to my questions and eagerness to learn, and were overall very professional and friendly.

Oakley did a beautiful job of the install of a new navien water heater and a… More new water softener. We couldn't be more pleased with the results of the installation and his explanation of how every thing works on this equipment. We also liked his professional manner. He also did an excellent job of cleaning up after the installs were done.
To sum up we're very pleased and would not hesitate to have him do more work for us should the need ever arise.

We've had Visions out to service our 30+ year old gas fireplaces a few… More times over the years. Each time, the admin person and technicians have been very friendly and efficient. We've just had Kjel by to replace a part in one of our fireplaces and he did an excellent job. His experience and analytical nature helped him quickly find the root of the problem. He ordered the necessary part and then was back to install it. Kjel is THE BEST. I highly recommend calling Vision and hopefully you will be lucky enough to have Kjel assigned to your job.

Had a very pleasant experience with Vision Plumbing and Heating. Our gas fireplace… More was not working and we needed a service call to check it out. Unfortunately we had to cancel the first service call due to a medical emergency in our family. They were very understanding and weren’t pushing at all about rebooking. We didn’t rebook until over a month later.
When we did rebook, the sent Jeff Knox to the call. From the reminder text to the final beautiful flames again flowing, Jeff was a pleasure to work with. His attention to detail, expert experience in identifying the problem quickly and fast replacement of the part was Jeff’s super powers. He even went beyond the call of duty and cleaned every part of the fire place plus making it prettier for us. A big thanks to Jarrod for getting my fireplace working. Jarrod was a true professional.… More He explained what was wrong with the fireplace and option to fix it. He even gave me the option to use a wall switch or go with a programable Honeywell. I sure like being able to choose options based on the amount of money I wanted to spend. We chose Vision Plumbing to replace our old "Through-the-Wall" noisy… More AC unit with a new Hisense 1-ton Mini-Split AC Heat Pump. Vision Plumbing has done several of these conversion in our Brandt's Crossing Strata.
Visons heads up the whole project, contracting out the removal of the old Though-the-Wall unit, closing the big hole in the wall, finishing and painting the interior wall, and finishing, stuccoing and painting the exterior wall. The finish of the wall prep work was excellent with exact paint matching.
Then Visions arranged a day for the Hisense equipment install and contracted an electrician to upgrade the old AC 110 circuit to the required 220 circuit. The Visions team of Jamie and Doug did a super job of installing both the inside Hisense heating/cooling unit and the outside Hisense condenser / fan unit. Jamie and Doug were super organized and laid out floor protectors before any work was done. The finished project looks perfect with all cables and conduits neatly secured and totally plumb. See my attached finished pictures. 5-stars from me.
