Nolan Foote’s Number
At Vision Plumbing Heating Cooling, we love our local hockey and the Kelowna Rockets have been our team for almost 35 years and a huge part of the community. What better way to enjoy a Canadian winter than watching a hockey game?
When the opportunity arose to be part of the Wall of Recognition for Outstanding Achievement, we were beyond thrilled.
Recognizing Kelowna Rockets Nolan Foote
As of 2004 to be added to the wall a player must have accomplished one or more of these feats:
- be awarded the MVP of the Memorial Cup
- been the Captain of a Memorial Cup winning team
- win a World Junior gold medal
- and/or win an Olympic gold medal
The most recent Rockets member to meet the criteria is Junior Gold Championship winner Nolan Foote, who was honoured with a life-sized painting this year. Artist Joey Burdziuk flies in from Edmonton for each player, adding accolades to the paintings as the players progress in their careers.
We were fortunate to meet her and watch her work as she captures these historic moments.
Part of the sponsorship includes a plaque detailing Nolan Footes’ achievement. As a family owned and operated business, we are humbled to support a local hockey family realize their dreams. As active members of our community, it is truly a blessing to be able to sponsor Nolan Foote and see him on the wall with his brother.
